Upper Rum River Watershed Management Organization

The Upper Rum River Watershed Management Organization (URRWMO) is a “joint powers organization including the Cities of St. Francis, Oak Grove, Nowthen, Bethel, and portions of East Bethel. A small corner of Ham Lake also falls within the URRWMO” (see map below). Their Watershed Management Plan guides all of their work.

The URRWMO generally meets on the 1st Tuesday of the month at 7:00 pm at the Oak Grove City Hall. The 2019 meeting dates are: Jan. 8, Feb. 20, March 13, May 7, July 9, Sept. 3, Oct. 1 (6 pm – Ham Lake), Oct. 29. The 2020 meeting dates scheduled thus far are: Jan. 7, March 3, May 5.
