The Know the Flow website reflects the collaborative approach to water resources management in Anoka County. Anoka County addresses local water resource issues in a cooperative effort with the Anoka Conservation District, 21 communities (cities and township), 7 watershed management organizations, lake associations, and other interested parties.

Anoka County
Anoka County’s 446 square miles is the fourth-most-populous county in Minnesota, with a population of over 350,000 people. Many functions of the County are related to the protection and management of our water resources (e.g. community development, highways and transportation, public health and environmental services, waste management, parks and recreation, etc.).
