The Sunrise River Watershed Management Organization (SRWMO) is a “joint powers special purpose unit of government composed of member communities of Linwood, East Bethel, Columbus and Ham Lake collaborating to manage water resources” (see map below). The SRWMO began an update of its Watershed Management Plan in the spring of 2018, which is expected to be completed by December 2019.

The SRWMO meets on the 1st Thursday of the month at 6:30 pm at East Bethel City Hall. 2019 Meeting Dates: Jan. 3, Feb. 21, March 7, April 4, May 2, July 18, August 1, October 1 (6 pm – Ham Lake), Nov. 7, Dec. 5. 2020 Meeting Dates thus far: Jan. 2, Feb. 6.
